Dricus Du Plessis MMA Career
Dricus du Plessis’ turned professional in 2012, and has since competed in various promotions before joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).
His notable victories began in the South Africa MMA, while fighting for the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) Worldwide promotion.

Du Plessis is a two-time EFC Middleweight, a former EFC Welterweight Champion, and a former KSW Welterweight Champion.
In November 2014, du Plessis won the EFC Welterweight Championship after defeating Henry Fadipe, defending the title twice before moving up to the middleweight division.
In October 2016, du Plessis won the vacant EFC Middleweight Championship, and defended the middleweight belt once before leaving the EFC promotion.
Du Plessis made his debut in the UFC in 2020, and faced Markus Perez, winning the fight by a knockout.
