Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has sparked a rap beef between Ghana and Nigeria after releasing his track “Brag,” where he takes subtle digs at some Nigerian artists.

On the track, Sarkodie boasts about his career, growth, and success, claiming he was already established before the likes of Wizkid and Davido emerged.

This has prompted a response from Nigerian rapper Dremo Drizzy, who is affiliated with Davido. Dremo released a diss track titled “Burn,” where he addresses Sarkodie as “Baba Dudu” and calls him “delusional.”
Dremo goes on to assert that the artists Sarkodie mentioned, such as Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Asake, and Black Sherif, are all doing better than him.

Dremo dares Sarkodie to respond in another verse, saying, “Michael Owusu Addo, if you don’t respond, you losing my bro.”

He also references Sarkodie’s past back-and-forth with actress Yvonne Nelson, saying, “I am not Yvonne Nelson the author, if you fit reply an actress then reply a rapper.”
However, Sarkodie’s reaction to Dremo’s diss track was relatively calm. He acknowledged Dremo’s potential, saying, “He’s got potential” and that with a few touches, he will be good to go.
This response seems to have not satisfied Dremo, who has decided to release another track titled “When You Gonna Reply” in an attempt to elicit a more substantial response from Sarkodie.
