The accusations of a toxic and unsafe environment on the sets of Dan Schneider’s former children’s TV shows, such as ‘All That’, ‘The Amanda Show’, and ‘Drake and Josh’, were brought to light in the new documentary series ‘Quiet On Set’.

Drake Bell, who revealed he endured “extensive and brutal” abuse from Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck, responded to a TikTok live stream where the cast of ‘Ned’s Declassified’ appeared to joke about the situation.

During the stream, actor Deven Werkheiser made a remark that seemed to trivialize the allegations, prompting Drake Bell to express his disbelief on social media.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Bell retweeted the video from the live stream and criticized the remarks made by the ‘Ned’s Declassified’ cast, describing the situation as “wild”.

While ‘Ned’s Declassified’ aired on Nickelodeon, it was not a project of Dan Schneider. The show’s creator, Scott Fellows, has been praised by the cast for fostering a positive environment on set.

In ‘Quiet On Set’, allegations of a sexist and toxic environment on the set of ‘The Amanda Show’ are discussed, along with actress Alexa Nikolas sharing her experiences on ‘Zoey 101’. Cast and crew from other Schneider shows like ‘iCarly’, ‘Sam and Cat’, and ‘Victorious’ also contribute.

In response to the allegations, Schneider’s representative issued a statement acknowledging that while some employees may have found the working environment challenging, Schneider regrets any negative experiences and is sorry for them.
