He served as an Orthopaedic and General Surgical Registrar, earned a Diploma in Sports Medicine, and established Taranaki’s first Accident and Medical Clinic, White Cross. Dr. Mulholland’s innovative spirit also led him to launch Doctor Global, pioneering online consultations in the last century, and earning numerous business awards. He worked as an Emergency Department Doctor and GP for over 25 years, practicing in diverse locations, from rural New Zealand towns to the Chatham Islands. His medical journey took him to some of the most remote places on Earth, including the Antarctic, Arctic, and Indo-Pacific, where he served as a ship’s doctor and expedition leader.
