Zara Phythian, an actress is facing jail time after she and her husband who is a Taekwondo Master sexually molested a 13-year-old girl for three years.

Phythian, 36, who co-starred with Benedict Cumberbatch and Tilda Swinton in the 2016 Marvel superhero blockbuster Doctor Strange, was found guilty on May, 12 of sexually abusing a girl for three years, beginning when she was 13.
Zara and her 59-year-old husband Victor Marke were charged with 14 counts of past sexual behaviour with the minor. During a three-year reign of terror, the couple plied the girl with Captain Morgan’s dark rum.

From 2005 to 2008, the couple allegedly abused their victim ‘once or twice a month,’ and she was abused at least 20 times on separate occasions, according to the court.
Pythian’s husband was also charged separately with four charges of indecently abusing another girl, who was 15 at the time, between 2002 and 2003.
The couple disputed all charges, but after a 12-day trial at Nottingham Crown Court, a jury convicted them guilty.
