Dr. Likee, while reflecting on his past, revealed his participation in illegal drug trafficking.
The skit maker disclosed this during an interview with Emelia Brobbey on her Okukuseku The Talk Show.
Dr. Likee mentioned that after dropping out of secondary school, life became challenging, and he worked as a scrap dealer before eventually becoming a land guard.
He explained that he got into selling drugs through a man he referred to as his superior, who had recently returned from the United States.
In his desperate search for money and employment, Dr. Likee stated that he joined the illicit drug trade and started making enough money to live a luxurious lifestyle.

Speaking during the interview, Dr. Likee mentioned that he even advised ex-convicts not to engage in armed robbery but to consider selling drugs instead, as robbery could lead to death unlike involvement in the illicit drug trade.

“When you are on the street, the idea is to make money, and there are ways to do so without necessarily engaging in armed robbery. So if you are bold, you can engage in dealing with illicit drugs. Every week I used to go to the police station because I was arrested,” he said.
“I could even introduce someone who has come out of prison to the illicit drug business instead of the person engaging in thievery. With the drugs, they don’t beat you when arrested, but with robbery, you could be crushed to death. The drug business was very lucrative,” Dr. Likee added.
He mentioned that there was a time when he couldn’t trust anyone, not even his own mother or girlfriend, because of the nature of the business he was involved in.
Dr. Likee remembered his close friend accusing him of being an armed robber because he stayed at home during the day and worked only at night.
He recalled that he has been sentenced six times for his participation in drug trafficking, emphasizing that he was let down by his friends.
