Doutzen Kroes is a Dutch most recognized fashion model icon and actress.

Doutzen made her acting debut in 2011, appearing as one of the Amazon warriors in the blockbuster Wonder Woman and Holland’s first-ever 3D movie, Nova Zembla.

Doutzen, a mother of two young children, has been actively involved in promoting environmental causes as well as Dance4Life, a Dutch non-profit that uses dance music to teach young people about HIV and AIDS prevention.

She has assisted in the organization’s expansion across Europe and Africa.

The Elephant Crisis Fund is a ground-breaking new conservation tool that uses 100% of all donations to fund over 120 programs in 26 African countries to fight poaching, and ivory trafficking, and raise awareness about the African elephant slaughter. In 2016, Doutzen was named the campaign’s global ambassador.

Her father, Johan Kroes, was a psychologist, and her mother, Geartsje Leistra, first worked as a nurse and then as a teacher. They were both world-class speed skaters in the 1970s.
