Dorian Finney-Smith is an American professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association.

Finney-Smith attended I. C. Norcom High School in Portsmouth, Virginia. As a junior in 2009–10 playing for the school’s basketball team, he averaged 19.7 points, 13 rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks per game.

He played college basketball for Virginia Tech and Florida.

After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft, Finney-Smith signed with the Dallas Mavericks on July 8 and joined the team for the 2016 NBA Summer League.
