English former footballer, Don Megson has been reported dead by close sources and family. He was one of Sheffield Wednesday’s greatest servants who signed from Mossley in the Cheshire League by Wednesday in 1952.

He was also a football manager who managed Bristol Rovers from 1972 to 1977 and won the 1872 Watney Cup in his third game in position. He also coached the Portland Timbers of the North American League from 1978 to 1980. In 1983, he coached AFC Bournemouth for seven months.
