Dominic Francis Perrottet is an Australian politician who is currently serving as the 46th premier of New South Wales and leader of the New South Wales division of the Liberal Party of Australia. He assumed office on 5 October 2021 following the resignation of Gladys Berejiklian.

His father, John Perrottet, works for the World Bank as the Global Lead for Tourism at the International Finance Corporation, in Washington, DC. Perrottet’s family were members of the Catholic prelature, Opus Dei. Perrottet was educated at private schools Oakhill College in Castle Hill and Redfield College in Dural.
