Dom Dolla has not disclosed the identity of his parents to the media. His parents are currently unknown.

However, Dolla credits his Mother for inspiring his music journey after she gave him a copy of Basement Jaxx’ 2001 album ‘Rooty’ during a holiday in Denpasar.

Who Is Dom Dolla?

Dom Dolla whose real name is Dominic Matheson is a music producer, DJ and songwriter, known for the song “San Frandisco”, which won him the 2020 ARIA Music Awards.

Born on January 19, 1992, in Manila, Philippines, Dolla makes music in the house, tech house and future house genres, using a digital audio workstation.

In 2013, Dolla released his first single “The Boxer”, and since then he has released many singles which has ranked tops on the ARIA Club Chart several times, and on Triple J Hottest 100.

Some of his hit songs include “Love Like This”, “Define”, “Go Freek”, “You”, “Be Randy”,  “Moving Blind”, “Take It”, “San Frandisco”, and “Rhyme Dust”.

Dolla is a multiple-time ARIA Award nominee, and eventually won at the 2020 ARIA Music Awards for the song “San Frandisco”.

The same year, he won the AIR Awards for Best Independent Dance, Electronica, or Club Single.

In 2023, Dolla’s song “Rhyme Dust” ranked number one for seven weeks on the ARIA Club Chart.
