In a striking collaboration that unfolded in November 2023, Bangalter joined forces with the acclaimed French artist JR and choreographer Damien Jalet for an extraordinary art project titled “Chiroptera.”
This unique venture unfolded in front of the majestic Place de l’Opera, showcasing the intersection of music, dance, and visual art. Bangalter, leveraging his musical expertise, worked alongside Jalet to choreograph over 150 male dancers against the backdrop of a captivating cave display.

The soundtrack, a testament to Bangalter’s sonic ingenuity, will be made available to enthusiasts on a limited vinyl release courtesy of Ed Banger Records in February 2024.
