This enables Marvel to craft fresh movies and merge the characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Formerly, 20th Century Fox controlled the film rights, releasing various Fantastic Four films, distinct from the MCU.

This acquisition paves the way for exciting new adventures for the beloved superhero team under Marvel’s guidance.

Fans eagerly anticipate the Fantastic Four’s integration into the interconnected universe of superheroes, enriching the tapestry of storytelling within the MCU.

Why is Fantastic 4 not in Marvel movies?

For years, Marvel fans missed seeing the Fantastic Four in the movies. The rights to these superheroes belonged to 20th Century Fox, not Marvel Studios.

Despite Fox making four films about the Fantastic Four, none really wowed audiences or critics. Then, in 2019, Disney bought Fox. This changed everything.

Now, Marvel Studios has the rights back, and the Fantastic Four are finally joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) in 2025.

It’s a big win for fans who’ve been waiting to see these beloved characters alongside the Avengers and other Marvel heroes on the big screen.
