Does Lando Calrissian die in the rise of the skywalker?

In “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,” fans can breathe a sigh of relief: Lando Calrissian doesn’t bite the dust. Amidst the demise of some beloved characters, Lando emerges victorious from the final showdown with the First Order.

His role in the film is more subdued compared to his previous adventures. Lando pops up in a couple of crucial scenes, first guiding Rey and the gang on the desert planet Pasaana.

Despite his reluctance to jump back into the Resistance fray, he later steps up to offer support and wisdom to Poe after Leia’s passing, drawing from his own heroic journey.

Although Lando’s survival is confirmed, his future remains a bit murky. The movie doesn’t spell out his next moves or if he’ll keep fighting alongside the Resistance.

Yet, his continued existence leaves the door wide open for potential plot twists and turns in future Star Wars sagas.
