Gloria Estefan is a singer, actress, and businesswoman from Cuba. Gloria and her husband Emilio Estefan became minority owners of the Miami Dolphins in 2009, making them the first Cuban-Americans to own an NFL team.

“It’s our community. It’s the place where we live and love,” Estefan said in an interview with the NFL. “It’s people that have supported us through the years in our careers. So whatever we can do to be a part of that support for the Dolphins, then that’s what we’re going to do.”

Gloria and Emilio Estefan own several businesses, including several Cuban-themed restaurants, in addition to being minority owners of the Miami Dolphins.
The restaurants can be found in Miami Beach, downtown Miami (as part of the American Airlines Arena), Hollywood, Florida’s Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, Orlando, Florida’s Walt Disney World’s Disney Springs, and Miami International Airport.
They also own two hotels: the Costa d’Este in Vero Beach, which opened in 2008, and The Cardozo in Miami Beach.
