Woolworths’ expansion strategy involves exporting stock for its African stores from South Africa. This approach allows them to maintain quality and consistency across their outlets on the continent. While only about 20% of Woolworths’ African operations are food stores, the majority focus on clothing. The company’s presence in Africa reflects its commitment to growth beyond its home market.

In summary, Woolworths has established a strong foothold in various African countries, contributing to economic development and providing quality products to consumers across the continent.
