On March 21, 2019, the first season premiered with eight episodes. The show will return for its second season on May 22, 2020, followed by a third season on August 7, 2020, and a fourth season on November 24, 2021. Netflix renewed the show for a fourth and fifth season on March 11, 2021.

With their hugely glamorous lifestyles, it’d be easy to assume the cast is paid well but the team has revealed that, like most people working in real estate, they don’t actually get a base salary and are instead paid on commission.

The Selling Sunset cast is real realtors and they appear to frequently work outside of the Oppenheim Group office, either from home or at listings with clients.
The listings that the Selling Sunset realtors sell, on the other hand, are worth millions of dollars. Mary is the most successful agent, earning an estimated $1.8 million in commission from her listings in seasons one through four of the Netflix show, including $419,850 for selling French Montana’s house in the most recent season.
Christine and Chrishell have each earned a cool $1 million in commission during their time on the show.
