Hoda Kotb adopted her two daughters with her ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman. Hoda Kotb is the mother of two children namely, Haley Joy Kotb and Hope Catherine Kotb.

In 2017, Hoda Kotb announced that she had adopted her first child, a baby girl named Haley Joy. In 2019, Hoda’s family expanded with the adoption of her second child, Hope Catherine.

Hoda Kotb was the first host of Today’s first fourth-hour weekday morning broadcast at 10:00 a.m. in September 2007.
Hoda Kotb graduated from Fort Hunt High School in 1982. She proceeded to Virginia Tech, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in broadcast journalism in 1986.
Hoda Kotb received the Alfred I. duPont–Columbia University Award in 2008. In April 1998, Hoda Kotb officially joined NBC News as a correspondent for Dateline NBC and all NBC News platforms.
