Rose Mutombo is the wife of Dikembe Mutombo whom he married in 1996.

Rose and Mutombo met at Kinshasa, Congo, in 1995 before they tied the knots. They are blessed with three children and four additional adopted children.
Rose is a trained lawyer and humanitarian, who serves as the president of the Permanent Consultative Framework for Congolese Women (CAFCO) and the Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals in the Lukonde government.

His playing career saw him make history with great teams like the Denver Nuggets, the Atlanta Hawks, the Philadelphia 76ers, the New York Knicks, and the Houston Rockets.
Mutombo later retired in 2001, with a career record of 11,729 points scored, 12,359 rebounds and 3,289 blocks.
He was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.
Mutombo launched into media and film in 2002, making a brief appearance in the films Juwanna Mann and Like Mike.
He went on to appear in various TV commercials as well, including the Mobil 1 “Don’t change your oil” advert, in which he starred with Kevin Harvick.
In 2021 Mutimbo acted in the blockbuster movie Coming 2 America.
