Vincent Wilfork is a former American football nose tackle who played for the New England Patriots in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons.

Vince Wilfork scored a touchdown against the Washington Redskins in week 14 at FedExField.
He had one of his best games of his career in the AFC Championship game against the Ravens, recording 1.5 sacks and 6 tackles.
Wilfork and the Patriots appeared in Super Bowl XLVI at the end of the 2011 season. He started the game and had three total tackles, but the Patriots were defeated by the New York Giants, 21-17.

Wilfork was named a defensive tackle for USA Football’s 2012 “All Fundamentals Team,” which honors 26 NFL players each year for executing position fundamentals.
For the fifth consecutive season, he was elected co-captain by his teammates in 2012. On November 22, 2012, against the New York Jets, Wilfork made one of his most famous plays of his career.
Wilfork finished the season with 48 tackles and three sacks. His outstanding season earned him a spot on the Associated Press All-Pro first team as well as a spot in the 2013 Pro Bowl.
