Robbie Coltrane who played the role of Hogwarts gamekeeper Rubeus Hagrid in the Harry Potter film franchise is dead.

Robbie Coltrane’s cause of death has not been immediately disclosed. His death was confirmed by Belinda Wright, his British agent. Robbie Coltrane passed away at a hospital in Larbert, Scotland, on 14 October 2022 at the age of 72.
