Choi Dae-hee is the brother of Sulli, whose real name was Choi Jin-ri. Dae-Hee’s sister sent shock waves in the entertainment industry after she killed herself as a result of a long struggle with online bullying.

Dae-hee, her brother who was also served as her manager found her dead on October 14, 2019 at approximately 3:20 p.m. KST hanged herself in the second floor in her house in Seongnam, south of Seoul.
Her brother cum manager reportedly visited the house when he was not able to reach her. This was after he spoke with her via phone the previous day at 6:30 p.m. KST.

One year after the death of Sulli, Dae-hee took to Instagram to post a very emotional message.
Portions of Dae-Hee’s message read:
“I have a lot to tell you this time, so listen to everything I say, okay? The truth is, I’ve been having a hard time these days. I feel like I’m finally telling you all the things I’ve been hiding. You’ll listen, right? I wish you would come at me and fight like old times. This is so frustrating. I feel sad.”
