Did Shawn Johnson & Nastia Liukin Have A Fallout?

Olympic champions, Nastia Liukin and Shawn Johnson opened up about their friendship and why they didn’t speak to each other for eight years.

Johnson explained that all was good between them all through the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but it all changed afterwards.

The girls revealed that the media’s narrative about their friendship took a toll on the relationship, and they felt like the world didn’t want them to be friends. They also noted that they were native and believed what was fed to them even though nothing, in particular, caused them to fall out with each other.

Johnson and Liukin were roommates and best friends when they competed for US Gymnastic Team. The pair helped their team win 10 medals, two bronze, six silver and two gold.

Johnson in an interview said in an interview that she and Nastia are still best friends and their relationship is inseparable.
