In the 1970s and 1980s, Rosemary West—also known as Rose West—and her husband, Fred West, carried out a number of killings in Britain.

In Gloucester, England, the pair ran a boarding home where they tortured, raped, and killed young girls and women, some of whom were their own offspring.
Many of the victims’ remains were buried in the garden or under the home. Rosemary West was given a life term in prison after being found guilty on 10 charges of murder in 1995.
Fred West, her husband, killed himself while they were in court. Some of the most horrible crimes in British history have been compared to those committed by Rosemary and Fred West.

Did Rose West have children?
Yes, Rosemary West had several children. She had eight children with her husband, Fred West, and also adopted her stepdaughter, Charmaine, after Fred’s previous marriage ended.
Some of the children were fathered by Fred West and others were the result of rape and abuse committed by the couple.
It is believed that at least two of the West’s children were murdered by their parents and their bodies were buried at the family’s home in Gloucester, England.
Rosemary West was convicted of 10 counts of murder in 1995 and is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
