John Gray’s megachurch, The Relentless Church, was evicted from Redemption Church’s property in Greenville, South Carolina.

In January 2020, Redemption filed a lawsuit to evict Relentless from the Greenville campus, alleging that Relentless had not met its financial obligations to occupy the property.
Redemption church claimed that Relentless church failed to make all payments to cover the costs of the church sanctuary and The Imagine Center, a sports and fitness facility on the church campus.

In an emailed statement, Relentless spokesperson Anne Torres said, We hope that Redemption’s leadership accepts and follows the terms of our original agreement so that we can all move forward.”
The eviction case lasted ten months before a settlement was reached through mediation.”
An unnamed settlement was reached, allowing Relentless to remain on the Haywood Road campus. As part of the settlement, Gray agreed to sign a non-disclosure agreement that prohibited him from disclosing the terms of the agreement.
