Priscilla Ann Presley Wagner Beaulieu was born at Brooklyn Naval Hospital in Brooklyn on May 24, 1945, to parents, Anna Lillian Iversen and James Wagner. Her mother gave birth to her at the age of 19.

Priscilla Presley’s father James Wagner was a US Navy pilot. He was killed in a plane crash while returning home on leave when Priscilla was six months old. Her mother later remarried a United States Air Force officer named Paul Beaulieu who took over raising Priscilla.

Priscilla Presley and her family then moved from Connecticut to New Mexico to Maine due to his father’s Air Force career. The family was eventually settled in Germany. She met Elvis Presley on September 13, 1959, at a party at his home in Bad Nauheim, Germany and got married to him eight years later.

Priscilla Presley tied the knot with Elvis on May 1, 1967, at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. Their marriage resulted in the birth of their only child, Lisa Marie, who was born exactly nine months after their wedding, on February 1, 1968. The couple married separated on February 23, 1972, and filed for legal separation on July 26. Their divorce was finalized on October 9, 1973.
