Did Peter McNab win a Stanley Cup?

Peter McNab was a Canadian-born American professional ice hockey player. McNab did not win a Stanley Cup.

Peter McNab helped the Sabres to the 1975 Stanley Cup final, where they were beaten in six games by Philadelphia

McNab played 965 games in his career with the Buffalo Sabres, Boston Bruins, Vancouver Canucks, and New Jersey Devils.  His best season came in the 1976-77 season with Boston, recording 38 goals and 48 assists.

After retiring, McNab began his broadcasting career as a colour analyst for the Devils in the 1987-88 season.

He then left the Devils to return to Colorado (where he played for the University of Denver) to work as a colour commentator for the Avalanche.

During his time with the Avalanche, McNab established himself as one of the league’s longest-serving analysts.

Peter McNab died on Sunday, November 6 2022. He was 70. Peter McNab was diagnosed with cancer last year. McNab announced in February 2022, that his doctors had told him his cancer was in remission.
