Mozart’s father, Leopold Mozart, was a composer and music teacher who recognized his son’s talent at an early age and devoted himself to his son’s musical education.

From 1782 to 1785 Mozart mounted concerts with himself as a soloist, presenting three or four new piano concertos in each season.

Mozart’s most famous works include the operas “The Marriage of Figaro” (1786), “Don Giovanni” (1787), and “The Magic Flute” (1791).
