Did Michael Oppenheim pass away?

Michael Oppenheim, veteran American business manager who worked with Beyoncé and Eminem, has been reported dead. He died at the age of 62 after a prolonged with cancer.

Born in Queens, Michael Oppenheim began his career after graduating and earning an accounting degree from SUNY Buffalo State in 1982. He started his professional career at a New York-based company called Prager and Fenton as a tour accountant.

He moved to Los Angeles to work for Boulevard Management in 1987. Not long after that he moved returned to Prager, but kept living in Southern California and helped quite a great portion of the firm’s clients.

Oppenheim’s professional career as a business manager in the music industry lasted for almost 40 years before he passed away.

His business partner, Bernie Gudvi shared a statement to pay tribute to his dear friend.

Michael will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Everyone’s consensus is that he was one of the GOOD GUYS! That is a hard reputation to come by in our industry,” he shared.
