Jim McIngvale, widely known as “Mattress Mack,” put the largest legal wager ever placed by betting $5 million on the Cincinnati Bengals to win Sunday’s Super Bowl 56 against the Los Angeles Rams.

It follows numerous bets he placed last week that estimated more than $4.5 million on the Bengals.

The bet, comparable to other bets from “Mattress Mack,” is linked to a promotion he’s giving at his Mattress Warehouse.

According to McIngvale, customers who buy $3,000 of more mattresses or reclining furniture will get their money back if the Bengals win.

Mattress Mack currently has $9.5 million on the Bengals to win Super Bowl 56 over the Rams.
