However, after much controversies and altercations, Kuchar apologized to Ortiz and paid him $50,000.

Kuchar had won $1,296,000 at the tournament and caddies are supposed to be paid 10% of the golfer’s earning.

Born on June 21, 1978, in Florida, Kuchar attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta, where played golf and was a “two-time first-team All-American on the Yellow Jackets’ golf team.”

Kuchar holds a record of nine wins on the PGA Tour and 18 professional wins so far in his career.

As of 2010, he was a top money earner on the PGA Tour, although his career had suffered a little setback due to health constraints.

In 2012, Kuchar won The Players Championship, which has been his biggest tournament victory so far. He also achieved a career high of world number five at the time.

In 2013, Kuchar won his first World Golf Championship at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.

He also participated in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where he won a bronze medal.

Kuchar has so far made over $50 million career earnings.
