Lucas Hedges is an American actor. Lucas Hedges did not quit acting, however, Hedges took a short break from acting to focus on writing.

He returned to reprise his role as Ennis Del Mar in a 2023 West End theatre production of Brokeback Mountain at @sohoplace, opposite Mike Faist’s Jack Twist.

Hedges gained recognition for his notable performances in various films, showcasing his talent and versatility as an actor. Hedges made his breakthrough in 2016 when he starred in the critically acclaimed film “Manchester by the Sea.”

Since then, Hedges has been involved in numerous high-profile projects across different genres. He has appeared in films such as “Lady Bird” (2017), “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” (2017), “Ben Is Back” (2018), and “Mid90s” (2018).

Hedges received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Drama for his performance as a teenager forced into a gay conversion therapy programme in Boy Erased in 2018. In the same year, he made his Broadway debut in a revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s drama The Waverly Gallery.
