Liza Weil is an actress known for appearing in the comedy-drama series Gilmore Girls and its later revival series Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, which aired on Netflix.
Born on June 5, 1977, in Passaic, New Jersey, Weil appeared in Broadway productions in the early 90s and went on to graduate from Columbia University.

Since then, Weil has starred in several roles on many TV series. In 2012, she played the role of White House aide Amanda Tanner in the ABC political drama series Scandal; and from 2014-2020, Weil played the role of an attorney in the drama series How to Get Away with Murder.
Other movies she has appeared include Gilmore Girls, Neal Cassady, Mars, Eleventh Hour, CSI, In Plain Sight, Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, Smiley, Anyone But Me, and the ABC Family series Bunheads as Milly.
In 2014, Weil was cast as Bonnie Winterbottom, also in the ABC series How to Get Away with Murder.
In 2019, Weil took another star shot, appearing as Carole Keen in the third season of the Amazon Prime Video series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
Her latest TV role is that of FBI agent Katherine Russo in the TB series The Cleaning Lady, which is aired on Fox TV.
