Liam Neeson turned down the role of James Bond before it went to Pierce Brosnan. He declined the role because of his wife, Natasha Richardson. Liam Neeson did not play in Marvel but he starred in superhero films like Darkman and Batman Begins.

In 2020, Liam Neeson was placed seventh on The Irish Times’ list of Ireland’s 50 Greatest Film Actors. Neeson starred as Oscar Wilde in David Hare’s The Judas Kiss in 1998.
