Kristen Stewart later rendered an apology to Robert Pattinson after she cheated on him with married director Rupert Sanders. She made her apology publicly on July 25, 2012.

In Kristen’s public apology, she said, “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob.”

Pattinson and Stewart started dating in 2009 after meeting on the set of the first Twilight movie, in which they played love interests, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen. They were together from 2009 until 2013.
Robert Pattinson has performed incredibly well in the Safdie Brothers’ crime drama Good Time (2017), Claire Denis’ science-fiction drama High Life (2018), and Robert Eggers’ psychological horror film The Lighthouse (2019).
In 2015, Robert Pattinson appeared as T. E. Lawrence aka Lawrence Of Arabia in Werner Herzog’s adaptation of Gertrude Bell’s biopic film Queen of the Desert alongside Nicole Kidman and James Franco.
