American director and writer, Jeff Fowler worked on Shadow the Hedgehog, the CGI movie production for the video game which was released in 2005.

He then went on to direct Sonic the Hedgehog movie. The movie is based on the video game. However, the movie faced a lot of criticisms from social media, especially Twitter because of its design and was led to change its release date from November 2019 to February 14, 2020.

Fowler also directed the movie’s sequel, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 which also faced a few ridiculous criticisms as they called out Knuckle, ‘Sexy Knuckle.’

“Oh my God, it was incredible. It was so amazing. So funny. There’s no such thing as bad publicity, is what they say, and I don’t think this by any means could be classified as bad publicity. But I thought it was hilarious. It was so great, and a wonderful way of welcoming Idris Elba into our weird little family; our weird little Sonic family. I think he got a kick out of it. I was sending him stuff, saying like, ‘This is a good thing. It’s a good thing that this meme is out there.’ I was all for it,” he said.
