Why Did James White Retire?
James White retired due to a hip injury he sustained during the 2021 season. He was only able to play three games throughout the season. Even after several trials to get back into the league, there has not been any remarkable improvement in his health, making it difficult to continue. He was forced to retired at age 30.

After James White announced his retirement, New England Patriots coach, Bill Belichick said.
