Did Elon Musk Fire Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal And CFO Ned Segal?

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has sacked Twitter’s CEO Parag Agrawal and two other top executives, CFO Ned Segal and Vijaya Gadde, who serves as head of legal policy, trust, and safety.

The immediate sack came after Musk has sealed his deal with the social media giant worth $44 billion.

The three sacked Twitter executives will be offered no less than $187 million of Musk’s money, after he bought their shares for $54.20 each.

Agrawal is having the smallest stock holdings of 155,000 shares worth $8.4 million; Segal will receive $22 million for the 406,000 shares owned, while Gadde will receive $34.8 million for her 642,000 shares.

The trio are also entitled to the “Golden Parachute Compensation” which includes a year’s base pay and a year of health insurance.

The trio also has some stocks that awaits claim in the nearest future worth $56.4 million for Agrawal, $43.8 million for Segal and $19.4 million for Gadde.

The sum of the entire parachute payments amounts to $121.8 million.
