Marvel star Scarlett Johansson and the Walt Disney Company have settled the breach of contract lawsuit the “Black Widow” actor brought against the studio in July 2021.

The Walt Disney Company clapped back at Scarlett Johansson, slamming the actress’ breach of contract lawsuit for showing “callous disregard for the horrific and prolonged global effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Scarlett Johansson’s films have grossed over $14.3 billion worldwide, making her the highest-grossing box office star of all time. In 2010, Johansson began portraying Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Iron Man 2 and has reprised the role in eight films.
Scarlett Johansson voiced Kaa in Jon Favreau’s live-action adaptation of Disney’s The Jungle Book, and Ash in the animated musical comedy film Sing (both 2016).
In 2010, Scarlett Johansson debuted on Broadway in a revival of A View from the Bridge, which won her a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress.
