Debora Cahn is an American writer and producer of television and film. She was the writer and executive producer of the Showtime popular drama series Homeland for its final two seasons, from 2018 to 2020.

She began her writing career in 2002 when she wrote and produced The West Wing from season four to seven, and its final season. It lasted from 2002 to 2006.
Cahn currently has a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix as she swill serve as executive producer and showrunner on the political drama series, The Diplomat.

She has a master’s degree in acting from the Institute for Advanced Theatre at Harvard University.
