Did Cora Jakes Coleman Have A Baby?

Cora Jake’s Coleman was diagnosed of infertility before she turned 24.

So far, she has not been able to have kids of her own, but is a mother of two adopted kids – daughter Amauri, 13, and son, Jason, 7.

“It was almost like once I heard I was going to have struggles with conceiving a child, I gave up on everything else that I wanted to do,” Cora had said.

In 2012, she went public with her infertility challenges via her blog “Fertility Faith”. The blog is a channel through which she offers advice and support to young women battling with infertility.

“Well, I wanted God to be able to use my heartache for ministry,” Cora said. “I felt like, well Lord, if I’m going to go through this war, let it be to help someone else — for His glory. The enemy held over my head, for a long time, with my battle of infertility”, she had said at the time.

“I had to put a flip on it,” she continued. “I had to say, ‘Lord, I’m heartbroken, I’m devastated but if you can use this to help someone else, if you can use this to speak life into someone else, then I’ll be a willing vessel”, she added.

Through her blog posts, Cora was able to reach out to other women and families who were faced with infertility, especially black women who are most likely to be stimatized.
