Did Cat Osterman win a national championship?

Catherine Leigh Osterman is a former American softball pitcher. Osterman was a member of the USA Women’s Softball Team, which won gold at the 2004 Summer Olympics and silver at the 2008 and 2020 Summer Olympics.

She was a collegiate four-time All-American and a professional six-time All-Star. Osterman owns the Big 12 Conference pitching Triple Crown for career wins, ERA, and strikeouts, as well as shutouts, no-hitters, WHIP, and perfect games; she also owns the NCAA Division I strikeout ratio record (14.34).

In 2001, Cat joined the USA National Team. Won two Pan American gold medals (in 2003 and 2007), four World Cup titles (in 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010), an Olympic gold medal (2004), an Olympic silver medal (2008), and two World Championships (2006, 2010).

She joined and finally won the inaugural championship in the Athletes Unlimited Softball league as the top individual points leader in May of 2020. Osterman was also voted the NCAA’s No. 3 Greatest College Softball Player and No. 1 Pitcher.
