Andy Richter has been a sidekick for Conan O’Brien on each of O’Brien’s talk shows Late Night and The Tonight Show on NBC and Conan on TBS.

Andy Richter left Late Night with Conan O’Brien in 2000 after seven years of being on the show. He later returned to the show when Conan O’Brien took over as host of The Tonight Show in 2009.
When Conan moved to TBS to host his show, Andy Richter followed him and continued to be his sidekick on Conan. Andy Richter voiced Ben Higgenbottom in the Nickelodeon animated television series The Mighty B!

Andy Richter played for the American League as a first baseman in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. Richter attended the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and Columbia College Chicago as a film major in the late 1980s.
Andy Richter wrote for the short-lived Jonathan Brandmeier television show. Andy Richter appeared in the Fox series Malcolm in the Middle in April 2002.
