Alexander David Turner is a musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer from England. Alex Turner has not left Artic Monkeys. He is still the frontman and primary songwriter for the band.

The band has been super busy this year. Arctic Monkeys is currently on tour in nine countries, with 17 upcoming shows. Their next tour stop will be at Parque da Bela Vista in Lisbon, followed by Sonora Mijas in Mijas.

The tour started in August 2022 and is set to end on January 2023. The band is also releasing a new album in 2022.

The Sheffield band has announced that their seventh studio album, The Car, will officially arrive on October 21 2022 following up on 2018’s jazz-inspired, intergalactic Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino.
