Albert Einstein and Richard Feynman did meet. They met at Princeton during Feynman’s first technical physics seminar. On the day of the presentation, while Feynman was putting some physics equations on the blackboard before the lecture began, Einstein entered the hall and told him:

“Hello, I’m coming to your seminar. But first where’s the tea?.” It was their first encounter.
The following people were also invited to the seminar:
- Henry Norris Russel, a well-known astronomer at the time.
- John Von Neumann was a well-known figure in the field of mathematics and computation.
- When Wigner told Feynman that physicist Wolfgang Pauli would also be attending his class, he turned yellow.
- Feynman had only heard and read about these outstanding personalities at the time.
- Pauli was and continues to be a world-renowned physicist.
In his own words, Feynman turned green when Wigner eventually admitted that he had asked Albert Einstein to the lecture as well because the issue was highly interesting.

Did Feynman meet Hawking?
Feynman also had a meeting with Steve Hawking.
Feynman was described as “always obsessed in generating anecdotes about himself” by one acquaintance quoted in this book.
Feynman and Hawking met when Hawking had a year-long fellowship at Caltech, where Feynman was located, in 1974-1975.
