Diane Sawyer is an American television broadcast journalist who has hosted major programs on two networks, including ABC World News Tonight, Good Morning America, 20/20, and Primetime Newsmagazine.

While Diane Sawyer was the main anchor of ABC World News, she was paid approximately $22 million per year, while her salary on Good Morning America was reported to be $12 million per year.

She hosted CBS Morning and was the first female correspondent on 60 Minutes during her time at CBS News. Prior to becoming a journalist, she worked on President Richard Nixon’s White House staff and assisted with his post-presidency memoirs.
