“Welcome to the world baby Koppany O’Leary… We’re delighted to announce that we’ve had a baby! A little boy was born on Tuesday, 23rd June 2020 (Sankthansaften/Mid Summer for Norwegians) at 8:19 am, weighing in at 6lb 13 oz. Enjoying the cuddles in the newborn bubble… cats yet to be 100% convinced. Lots of love, Dermot & Dee x,” he wrote.
During the lockdown period, Dermot shared that he had mixed feelings about having a kid with him all along.
“It was a very odd time to have a kid but at the same time it gave you that enforced time to be with him so I was able to take a lot more paternity than I probably would have been able to normally,” he wrote.
