Late musical virtuoso Denny Laine is survived by five children. He had a son and a daughter with his first wife, Jo Jo Laine.

He also had three other children from other relationships.
Laine was married to Elizabeth Mele just five months before his passing.

Denny Laine, a musical luminary and founder of two legendary bands, the Moody Blues (1964-1966) and Wings (1971-1981), left a solid mark in the world of music.
Co-founding the Moody Blues in 1964, Laine contributed to their evolution from a blues cover band to a pop sensation, his vocals and guitar skills shining in hits like “Go Now.”

In 1971, a new chapter unfolded as Laine, alongside Paul and Linda McCartney, formed Wings.

The next decade witnessed his pivotal role in crafting classics such as “Live and Let Die” and “Band on the Run,” while his collaboration with McCartney extended to co-writing hits like “Mull of Kintyre.”
Touring with World Classic Rockers from 1997 to 2002 showcased his versatility, followed by the Denny Laine Band and occasional collaborations, underscoring his enduring passion. In 2008, “The Blue Musician” marked his final solo release.
In 2018 with Laine was recognized with a rightful induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Even in January 2023, as he announced US tour dates and hinted at new material, age hadn’t dimmed his creative fire.
Tragically, on December 5, 2023, Laine passed on at 79, leaving behind a legacy that resonates through decades of musical brilliance.
