Dennis East Cause Of Death

Dennis East, a South African songwriter and musical producer originally from Pietermaritzburg who began his musical career in the late 1960s has died. He was 73 years old.

Dennis passed away on Monday Sept. 12 and his death was confirmed by the South African Legends Museum. What was Dennis East’s cause of death? Dennis died from stroke which he suffered on Friday (Sept. 9) afternoon.

Dennis performed with The Rising Sons in the 1970s, and formed the rock band Stingray with other South African musicians in 1979.

In addition to his work as a songwriter, Dennis also produced musical albums for South African artists as well as British saxophonist Andrew Young.

He also participated in television programmes such as Pump Up The Volume, Coca Cola Pop Stars and Popstars 2010.

His first single “Could you ever love me again” was released in 1973 but he achieved his first chart success a year laterm in 1974 with “A rose has to die”.

In 1978, he formed the group “Stringray” and once again made the charts with “Better the devil you know”.
