Dejan Milojević’s impact on the basketball court was profound. Standing at an imposing 6 feet 7 inches, Milojević played professionally from 1994 to 2009, leaving an indelible mark on the Serbian and Montenegrin league teams, including Beovuk, FMP, Budućnost, and Partizan. His prowess extended internationally, with stints in Spain’s Pamesa Valencia and Turkey’s Galatasaray.
Throughout his playing career, Milojević garnered accolades, notably being named the Adriatic League Most Valuable Player three times in a row. His achievements included leading Budućnost to a National Championship in 2001 and securing multiple league MVP awards.
Milojević’s dominance continued when he joined Partizan, where he showcased his scoring ability, averaging 20.5 points and 10.8 rebounds per game in the 2003-04 season, earning him his third MVP title. His commitment to the game led him to victories, both domestically and internationally.

Milojević proudly represented his country on the international stage. Milojević’s coaching prowess extended to the NBA, with a Summer League coaching stint with the Houston Rockets in 2018. His impact on young talents was evident during his tenure with Mega Basket, where eleven players, including NBA All-Star Nikola Jokić, received NBA draft selections.

In 2021, Milojević took on the role of assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors, contributing to the team’s success. His focus on player development, especially with young center James Wiseman and established players like Draymond Green and Kevon Looney, showcased his commitment to nurturing talent.
Milojević’s coaching journey reached its pinnacle in 2022 when the Warriors clinched the NBA Championship, defeating the Boston Celtics in six games. This achievement marked a historic moment for Milojević, making him the second Serbian assistant coach, after Igor Kokoškov, to secure an NBA championship ring.
